There are a number of ways to get involved:

Uploading your own photograph or audio recording

If you have historic photographs you would like to share, please use the upload form below. You will need to create a user account before you can upload material. We will ask for some of your personal details to create the account we will store these details on secure storage. We will only use this information to contact you about your uploaded material and news on the Archive.

Once logged in you will then be able to use the form to attach your material and provide information on it. Please read our Terms of Use  before you upload any material onto the Archive.   

Identifying people, places or any additional information

If you recognise faces in a photograph and this information hasn’t been included within a record on the Archive, please get in touch with us. If we have incorrectly identified people, places or buildings, again do please let us know by using the upload form or contacting us directly.

We are continually adding building records to the Archive as buildings are surveyed, recorded and researched. These building records have been created by volunteers based on what can be seen in the landscapes and with information they have been able to find in other archives and from people locally. However, there is nothing more powerful than memories! If you have a memory or information that would help to tell the human story of one of the buildings please log in and use the form to let us know your story, stating which building it refers to or get in touch with us directly.    

Help with developing the Archive
