Opportunity to Contribute to Scottish Climate Change Discussion

Have your say on climate change!

TGDT have organised three Climate Conversations in our area, with support from the Climate Challenge Fund Development Grant scheme, to explore the issues that matter to our community. We’d like to get a wide range of people from our community to share their views so we’ll be targeting the conversations at different interest groups including: young people; land use & farming; and a general interest group.

  • What changes do you want to see in your local community and across Scotland?
  • What steps do we need to take together to reach Scotland’s net-zero targets by 2045?
  • How can we reduce the emissions that cause climate change and prepare for a changing climate?

Climate Conversations have been initiated by the Scottish Government and are being held across Scotland to discuss actions to tackle the global climate emergency. Feedback from the conversations will support the Scottish Government to develop a better understanding of what people feel about the actions needed to cope with climate change.

You don’t need to know anything about climate change to join the discussion, just a willingness to share your views.
