Tomintoul & Glenlivet Discovery Centre open for business!
‘it gives me great pleasure to declare Tomintoul & Glenlivet Discovery Centre open’ with these kind words from Clare Russell our communities newly refurbished information & heritage centre was officially opened to the public on Tuesday 3rd April. We were joined by 70 friends, funders and stakeholders and a big thanks to everyone who came along to support this new facility and to our partners and funders Tomintoul & Glenlivet Landscape Partnership, Cairngorms National Park, Heritage Lottery Fund Scotland, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, Cairngorms LEADER and Moray Council for their unwavering support on this project.
TGDT Chair Dog Nisbet said ‘The Discovery Centre is a valuable asset to our communities providing a fascinating history of the area with visitor information on Tomintoul & Glenlivet within the Cairngorms National Park. It will also provide an important community space that residents and local groups can benefit from’.
The centre is open 10am – 5pm daily until the end of October
