TGDT host Slovenian delegation
Scotland, and the Highlands in particular is increasingly being seen as a world leader in community led regeneration and development, so it was no surprise for TGDT and Tomintoul Landscape Partnership to be invited to host a delegation of Slovenians on Saturday 13th January. The group who represented a wide range of tourism and conservation interests were keen to see the asset transfer of the Hostel and Museum and the partnership working and community effort behind the Tomintoul & Glenlivet Landscape Partnership. They also enjoyed a whisky tasting from Scott at the Whisky Castle and a planetarium experience at #Discover 2018!
We really value opportunities to showcase the huge amount of community effort that has gone into making our area so special and left our visitors with a strong sense that this is a thriving area with a positive future.
