Tea in the Park Cancelled
It is with a heavy heart that the group organising the event have taken the difficult decision to cancel Tea in the Park 2021. This has not been an easy decision to make nor one that has been taken lightly.
Advice was taken from Moray Council Environmental Health team regarding the measures necessary to run Tea in the Park this year in a safe and COVID compliant way. The organising group identified a range of control measures in response to this advice.
We are grateful to those volunteers who came forward to help at the event. However, given the significant number of extra volunteers needed to run the event in a COVID compliant way, it has become clear that the event is no longer viable. This will be a huge disappointment to many, but we hope you will understand the reasons why this decision had to be taken.
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved and hope to run Tea in the Park in 2022.
