Discovery Centre Fit Out begins in earnest!
Our Cairngorms LEADER and HLF Landscape Partnership funded refurbishment has reached another exciting stage this week with the start of the onsite fit out work. The front area which will be a visitor orientation, retail and multi purpose space is first to get the Urban Display treatment with the reception desk, window display, retail units and orientation panels all being installed this week. Were also really excited about the new centre signage going up which will mark the official change from Tomintoul Museum to Tomintoul and Glenlivet Discovery Centre. The refurbishment of the community owned museum is being funded as part of Tomintoul & Glenlivet Landscape Partnership, a programme of projects to enhance and promote the rich cultural and natural heritage of our area.
For the staff and volunteers who’ve been involved in this project this feels like a really great and very positive way to end a very successful year from Tomintoul & Glenlivet Development Trust so here’s to more of the same in 2018!
