Events round up
The last 6 weeks has seen a flurry of events activity in the area with a number of successful events taking place in the area. The Rock & Road cycling festival saw over 500 competitors and many more spectators descending on Tomintoul for mountain bike and road cycling competitions.
The inaugural Touler 10km race organised by Kirkmichael & Tomintoul Community Association defied the weather and had an excellent turn out, feedback on this event has been excellent so well done to Tony and the team!
The Tomintoul Motorcycle Gathering was another very busy weekend in the village with over 500 motorcycles parked in the square, it’s great to see an event like this flourish with such commitment and support from the local community so again well done to everyone involved!
The Tomintoul Highland Games was another event that defied the weather (high winds this time) and was a huge success. The volunteer run Trust stall raised some welcome funds and gave out information on trust projects so thanks to everyone involved.
